Jaidon Anthony

A left sided attacker who cuts inside onto his stronger foot looking to shoot or thread a pass through a crowded box, comfortable creating chances as often as he finishes them himself. He spent years working his way up through loan spells before forcing his way into regular first team football.

Jaidon Anthony, The Winger Who Cuts Inside

His instinct is always to move onto his stronger foot and look for a shot or a pass through traffic.

Anthony plays predominantly from the left, drifting inside to shoot rather than reaching the byline to cross, and his end product covers both goals and assists rather than leaning heavily on one or the other. He is comfortable carrying the ball at pace in open space and equally comfortable working in tight areas where a first touch matters more than raw speed.

It took him several years and more than one loan spell away from his parent club to force his way into regular first team football, which is a longer route than most attacking talents take. That patience seems to have shaped how calmly he takes his chances now, rather than rushing decisions in the final third. Whether he can sustain that end product against better organised defences is the next test in front of him.

Clean sheets in the Premier League and Championship

Five Premier League keepers have three clean sheets from five games, but Konstantinos Tzolakis has made the most saves of the group. In the Championship, George Wickens has matched Lawrence Vigouroux's four clean sheets while facing far more shots.

Match Bingo Game Modes Explained

There are three game types on Match Bingo and they behave less alike than they sound. Live Games follow a real fixture as it's played. Bingoals swaps the fifteen events for fifteen teams and needs every one of them to score. Quick Games run every few minutes on football from last season, so there's nothing to wait for.

Does a New Signing Change Anything on Your Match Bingo Card?

Deadline day comes and goes and your card stays exactly as it was. Match Bingo cards are built from things that happen in a match, goals and corners and fouls, rather than from the players who make them happen. No name on a teamsheet reaches a single square. Here's what a signing does change, and what it doesn't.

Is Match Bingo Safe? Licensing, Fair Play and Player Protection

Two things usually sit behind that question: whether the company is real and regulated, and whether the game itself can be got at by somebody sharper than you. Match Bingo is operated by RTSB Limited under Gambling Commission account 51467, which takes about a minute to check. The second answer is duller: there's nothing to press.

What Is Football Bingo?

A card holds fifteen things that can happen in a football match, and each square marks itself the moment its event happens in the fixture you've chosen. You buy before kick-off, then you go and watch the game. Complete a horizontal row of five before anybody else and you take the fixed prize for that tier.

This Week on Match Bingo: Premier League and Championship, 28 to 31 August

A Friday night opener, a full Saturday, and Villa against Arsenal alone on the Monday.

Jaidon Anthony: The Pressing Winger

Burnley’s direct wide threat, built to press hard and attack space at speed.

Anthony plays like he wants to turn every regain into a chance. He accelerates quickly, attacks the full-back immediately, and forces defenders into mistakes because he keeps the duel sharp and fast. In a team that will rely on moments as much as possession, having a winger who can create danger quickly is essential, and Anthony gives Burnley exactly that.

He also brings intensity without the ball. He presses, tracks, and keeps chasing, which helps Burnley stay aggressive even when they’re under pressure. He isn’t the most elaborate winger, but he’s effective, and in the Premier League, effectiveness is often what keeps you alive.
