Rico Henry

Henry covers ground at a rate few full backs in the league can match, sprinting the length of the pitch to support an attack and then recovering just as quickly once the ball is lost again. He was moved to left back as a teenager after starting out in central midfield, and the habits from that position never really left him, especially the way he carries the ball forward under pressure instead of simply knocking it long downfield.

Longevity is the real story here. Henry has stayed loyal through relegation battles, promotion and a long run in the Premier League, becoming one of the few players left who remembers what the club looked like before any of it happened. Whether his body keeps holding up to that kind of running workload, year after year, is the question that follows every full back who plays with this much intensity.
