Kevin Schade, The Forward Defenders Cannot Contain

Brentford's German attacker turns half a yard of space into a full sprint that most defenders simply cannot live with.

Schade's first few strides are what separate him from most forwards in the league, taking the ball past a defender before that defender has even set his feet properly. He can play through the middle or from either flank, and his end product has grown alongside his pace, moving from a player who was purely dangerous in transition into one capable of finishing chances himself.

The debate around Schade is consistency rather than talent, since nobody doubts what he can do on his best afternoons.
