Julian Eyestone, The Keeper College Football Built

An unusual route through American college soccer produced a goalkeeper whose height dominates crosses most keepers cannot reach.

Eyestone stands out physically even among professional goalkeepers, using his height to claim crosses that a shorter keeper would have to parry away instead of catching cleanly. His path to Brentford ran through American college soccer rather than a traditional academy setup, an unusual route that gave him a different kind of competitive experience before he ever signed a professional contract.
