Twenty-five years is a long time to wait

Some clubs go away for a season. Coventry went away for twenty-five years, and not much of it was pretty. Groundshares, relegations, a spell where simply still existing felt like the main objective.

So there’s no pretending this is business as usual. The Sky Blues flew through the Championship to get back here, and that kind of momentum counts for something even when the step up is this steep.
