Thomas Kaminski, A Goalkeeper Built On Reflexes

His outstanding stop for Luton proves he can still produce the one save that changes a match completely.

Kaminski reads the shot early and moves his body behind it instead of relying on reflex alone, which is why saves that look unlikely from the stands look routine from behind his own goal. He commands his box with the confidence of a keeper who has already played at the highest level and come through it well. His distribution stays calm rather than showy, finding a teammate rather than launching the ball long and hoping for the best.

The question at Charlton is whether that composure survives once the players in front of him are less protective than he has grown used to. A Championship back four asks different questions of a goalkeeper, more crosses, more scrambles, more moments where positioning matters as much as reflex. Kaminski has shown he owns that pedigree. Whether he keeps producing it week after week in a rougher league is the part worth watching.
