Osula combines height and strength with a burst of pace that catches defenders off guard. Most forwards built to win aerial duels are rarely also quick enough to run in behind a defensive line the way he can. That versatility lets him play through the middle or drift towards the flank, stretching a back four in ways a purely physical striker simply cannot manage on his own without help from a teammate.
What still needs proving is consistency in front of goal. Teammates and coaches have spoken about his raw attributes more than his end product so far in his young career. Turning pace and power into regular goals rather than promising performances is the gap between the forward he looks like and the one Newcastle actually need him to become.
