Tino Livramento

Livramento does his best work away from the touchline. He drifts infield to receive passes between the lines where a winger would usually stand isolated near the corner flag. That positioning lets him link play rather than simply deliver crosses, and his passing under pressure holds up because he rarely needs two touches to escape a crowded area of the pitch. Defenders built for wide duels find him much harder to track once he starts operating centrally instead of staying wide.

The trade off is obvious to anyone watching closely. Pushing a full back that far infield leaves space in behind for a winger to exploit if possession is lost. His positioning has to be almost perfect every single time Newcastle lose the ball during a transition, because there is nobody else covering that space behind him.
