Sandro Tonali, The Midfielder Who Sets The Tempo

Tonali decides how quickly Tottenham play, using his passing to slow a game down or suddenly speed it up.

Tonali dictates rhythm from deep rather than getting dragged into every individual battle around him. He chooses when to hold possession and when to release it with a pass that changes the angle of attack completely.
