Porro delivers the ball into the box with a quality that turns a wide position into a source of goals.

Porro's biggest weapon is the accuracy of his delivery from wide areas. He whips the ball in with pace and just enough curl that it becomes a real chance rather than a hopeful cross needing a lucky bounce. He gets into those positions constantly, overlapping or cutting inside depending on how the winger ahead of him has occupied the full back. That attacking output has become such a core part of how Tottenham build chances that opponents now set up specifically to stop the ball ever reaching him.

The tension is the space he leaves behind when he commits so fully going forward, since recovering that distance against a fast counter attack is not always straightforward. Fans accept the trade off because the end product from his crossing is rarely matched by another player in his position.
