Stoke could do with a season that actually sticks

Unfortunately, there's been a hell of a lot of “nearly” around Stoke for a while. A decent run here, a good performance there, then it all seems to drift away again. Potters fans have probably had enough of waiting for something to properly catch fire.

It doesn’t need to be some mad promotion charge either. Give them a side they enjoy watching, a couple of proper statement wins and a few Saturdays where everyone’s still talking about it on the way home.

That’s really the thing with Stoke this year. Fans don’t need another season that disappears into the pile. Give them something with a bit of life about it and they'll be happy.
