Luke McNally, The Defender Who Never Stops

A centre back nicknamed an absolute machine by teammates for the sheer relentlessness of his work rate.

McNally built his reputation in Ireland before English football came calling, winning a young player award during a loan spell where he also chipped in with goals from centre back. A teammate once described him simply as an absolute machine, which fits a defender who never seems to switch off and treats every long ball forward like a personal challenge.
