Gibson Yah, The Midfielder Built To Break Play Up

A defensive midfielder from a famous academy whose game combines hard tackling with a genuine eye for goal.

Yah came through one of European football's most respected academies, developing as a right footed holding midfielder trusted to sit at the base of midfield and dictate the tempo of a game. Strong tackling is the foundation of his game, but he is not purely destructive, adding a genuine passing range and a willingness to strike the ball from distance when a chance appears.
