Koki Saito

Saitō does his best work where the pitch is most congested. He takes a touch under pressure that most wingers would rather avoid, then uses quick feet to escape defenders who thought they had him boxed in. He roams across the front line rather than staying glued to one touchline, dropping into pockets between the lines before darting back out to stretch the game again. That constant movement makes him a genuinely awkward opponent for a disciplined full back to track.

The part of his game still catching up is finishing. Chances he works hard to create for himself do not always end the way his approach play deserves. Sharpening that end product is really the only thing standing between a clearly talented dribbler and a player who changes matches rather than just entertains inside them.
