Isak Alemayehu

Alemayehu broke into senior Swedish football at a strikingly young age. He adapted quickly enough that he was soon trusted in major European matches, rather than eased in gently through domestic football alone. He operates comfortably in several attacking positions, drifting from a wide role into the centre depending on what the game in front of him actually needs. He has already scored a genuinely significant goal on one of the biggest stages the position offers, against one of the continent's most recognisable clubs.

The obvious tension is transferring form built in one footballing culture into an entirely different, more physical English league. That jump has derailed plenty of technically gifted teenagers before him. How quickly he adjusts to Championship intensity, rather than the technical ceiling itself, is what will actually decide how his career here unfolds.
