Edo Kayembe, The Holding Midfielder Who Scores

A defensively minded midfielder whose surprising goal contribution sets him apart from most players asked to simply screen a back four.

Kayembe's first job is protecting the back four, breaking up attacks before they reach the penalty area and giving the ball to a teammate in a better position rather than trying anything ambitious himself.
