Alex Bangura, The Full Back Who Plays Wide

A versatile Sierra Leone international comfortable at left back or further forward, giving his manager a way to change shape.

Bangura defends the width of the pitch when asked to play full back, then switches into a more advanced role further up the same flank without looking like a different player entirely. That versatility means Middlesbrough can adjust their approach during a match.
