Swansea could do with a bit of lift-off

There was actually quite a lot to like about Swansea last year. They finished 11th, won 18 league games and had the Championship’s Golden Boot winner up front. It never quite turned into a proper play-off push, but it was hardly a season with nothing to build on either.

Swansea have shown they can score goals, and their home form improved a lot over the second half of last season. If that carries over, there’s at least a reason to be a bit curious about what this team can do.
