Swansea City

Ben Cabango

Ben Cabango is Swansea's homegrown captain, a central defender who wears the armband with the authority of someone who came through the academy and never wanted to play anywhere else. He sets the tone before kick off rather than waiting for a crisis to lead.

Ben Cabango, The Captain Who Grew Up Here

Wales international Ben Cabango leads Swansea's defence having progressed through the same academy that first gave him a shirt.

Cabango came through Swansea's own academy rather than arriving as the finished defender clubs usually buy in from elsewhere. The armband he now wears reflects how completely he has grown into the role since his first team debut. He organises the back line loudly, the sort of defender talking constantly before a corner is taken rather than reacting once the ball is already flying through the box. That leadership extends beyond the pitch, where younger teammates treat him as the senior figure in a squad that has turned over significantly around him.

Carrying the captaincy at a club still finding its feet in the Championship means Cabango absorbs blame for defensive mistakes that are not always entirely his, simply because the armband makes him the visible face of any setback. Whether that responsibility sharpens him or eventually wears him down is worth watching across a full campaign.

Match Bingo Game Modes Explained

There are three game types on Match Bingo and they behave less alike than they sound. Live Games follow a real fixture as it's played. Bingoals swaps the fifteen events for fifteen teams and needs every one of them to score. Quick Games run every few minutes on football from last season, so there's nothing to wait for.

Does a New Signing Change Anything on Your Match Bingo Card?

Deadline day comes and goes and your card stays exactly as it was. Match Bingo cards are built from things that happen in a match, goals and corners and fouls, rather than from the players who make them happen. No name on a teamsheet reaches a single square. Here's what a signing does change, and what it doesn't.

Is Match Bingo Safe? Licensing, Fair Play and Player Protection

Two things usually sit behind that question: whether the company is real and regulated, and whether the game itself can be got at by somebody sharper than you. Match Bingo is operated by RTSB Limited under Gambling Commission account 51467, which takes about a minute to check. The second answer is duller: there's nothing to press.

What Is Football Bingo?

A card holds fifteen things that can happen in a football match, and each square marks itself the moment its event happens in the fixture you've chosen. You buy before kick-off, then you go and watch the game. Complete a horizontal row of five before anybody else and you take the fixed prize for that tier.
