Not quite the 150th birthday they had planned

You’d imagine Wolves pictured their 150th anniversary looking slightly different. Instead, they’re back in the Championship after eight years in the Premier League and having to get used to this level of football all over again.

Mind you, their last Championship season went alright. Wolves won the league with 99 points in 2017/18, although pretty much everything around the club (besides the name) has changed since then. This time feels much more like a reset than picking up where they left off.

A big thing to look out for this season is the West Brom match. The first league Black Country derbies since 2021 should bring a bit of extra spice, especially if there’s something riding on them at either end of the table.

From our side, Wolves is a really fun one to have on with Match Bingo. A bit of pressure, a derby or two and plenty of games where the mood can change very quickly. More than enough to follow and play along with.
