Marshall Munetsi

Munetsi is a big, mobile presence in central midfield who wins the ball back through sheer physicality rather than clever anticipation, putting his body between an opponent and the ball and simply refusing to be knocked off it. Once he has possession, he carries it forward himself instead of laying it off at the first opportunity, covering ground that lets a team play through midfield rather than around it. That combination of strength and mobility is unusual in a player his size.

Leading his country as captain says something about how teammates read his character, a physical presence who sets a tone rather than simply following instructions from deeper.
