Jean-Ricner Bellegarde

Bellegarde covers box to box distances that most central midfielders cannot sustain across a full match, timing late runs into the penalty area rather than simply supplying the players ahead of him. That energy makes him a genuine goal threat from midfield, arriving into space a defender has already stopped tracking because the ball seemed to have moved past him. He competes hard for second balls too, refusing to concede a fifty fifty duel without a proper contest first.

His path to representing Haiti internationally made him a trailblazer, becoming the first player with that national team background to appear in the Premier League. That intensity has occasionally tipped into indiscipline, with cards picked up for challenges that a calmer midfielder would have avoided altogether. Watch how he manages that edge, because the same aggression that wins him the ball also puts him at risk of losing his team a player.
