Tzimas is a genuine number nine who holds the ball up with his back to goal and still has the pace to spin in behind once a defender switches off. He finishes cleanly when it matters, particularly in one on one situations against a goalkeeper.

Stefanos Tzimas, A Proper Old Fashioned Number Nine

The Greek forward combines target man strength with the pace to get in behind a settled back line.

Tzimas leads the line the way strikers used to before every forward was asked to drift wide and link play from deep. He is strong enough to hold off a centre back with his back turned, buying just enough time for a midfielder to arrive, then sharp enough to turn and finish once the angle opens. His finishing in one on one situations against a goalkeeper is calm rather than rushed, a genuinely rare trait in a forward still learning the league.

The question is whether that kind of central, penalty box striker fits a Brighton attack built around quick combinations and players drifting into pockets of space. Target men can look isolated when the team around them keeps moving elsewhere. How he adapts his movement to a side that prizes rotation over a fixed central presence will decide how many chances actually reach him.
