West Bromwich Albion

There’s a weird feeling around West Brom going into this one. Not that long ago they were in the play-offs, then last year they ended up far too close to the other end of the table. That’s a pretty big swing in a short space of time.

So yeah, it's understandable why fans might be holding off on any big predictions.

For me, the interesting bit is finding out what this Albion side actually is. Are they capable of getting themselves back towards the top end, or are we in for another year where nothing quite clicks?

That uncertainty makes them worth keeping an eye on. West Brom have plenty to prove this time around, and we should know fairly quickly whether last season was a bad one-off or something they’re still trying to fix.
