Matheus Nunes, The Player Who Fits Anywhere

He has played across midfield and defence without ever looking like a makeshift option filling in for somebody else.

Nunes brings a midfielder's passing range to whichever defensive role he is asked to fill, letting City build attacks through him even when he is nominally playing full back rather than central midfield. His athleticism allows him to recover ground quickly after pushing forward, and his reading of the game means he rarely looks lost regardless of where he starts.
