Justin Kluivert, The Forward Who Runs At You

A wide forward whose direct running and composed penalty taking have made him one of the division's more clinical finishers.

Kluivert attacks a full back head on rather than drifting past him quietly, using a change of pace to get into the box from either side and forcing a defender to make a decision he would rather avoid. His finishing under that kind of pressure has become genuinely reliable, especially from the penalty spot, where his composure stands out even among professionals whose job is supposed to be staying calm. Roma, Nice and Valencia all saw glimpses of this before Bournemouth got the settled, consistent version.

The debate around him is consistency across a full season rather than talent, because spells of real quality have historically been interrupted by longer stretches where the end product simply dries up. Injury has cost him time recently as well, right as his form looked to be peaking. Whether he can now string together a genuinely complete campaign is the question Bournemouth fans keep circling back to.
