Sebastian Revan, The Full Back Who Scores
Revan came through Aston Villa's academy and played the full ninety minutes as they won an FA Youth Cup final against Liverpool. It was an early sign of a defender comfortable performing under pressure at a young age. His senior debut arrived in the Europa Conference League before a series of loan moves at Grimsby Town, Hereford and Rotherham United, and it was at Grimsby that he scored twice in a single FA Cup match, an unusual return for a teenage left back.
Wrexham signed him permanently once those loans had shown enough promise. A full back who keeps producing goals still has to prove the defending side of his game is just as reliable. The question that follows any attacking full back this young is whether the end product came from being given freedom by a struggling side, or whether it survives once the opposition around him gets stronger.
