Patrick Dorgu

Dorgu covers enormous ground for a defender, sprinting the length of the pitch to support an attack and recovering just as quickly when possession turns over. His dribbling at pace is a real weapon, carrying the ball past a full back rather than simply crossing it early like a more conventional wing back would. He also arrives in the penalty area often enough to be treated as a genuine goal threat rather than just a provider from wide.

The tension is that his attacking instincts sometimes arrive before his defensive discipline does, leaving gaps a sharp opponent can exploit on the counter. He is still young enough that positioning mistakes get filed under learning rather than a permanent flaw. Watch how quickly he recovers after a forward run goes wrong, because that recovery speed is currently doing a lot of the defensive work for him.
