Tyrese Campbell

Campbell runs in behind defences with genuine pace, forcing centre backs to drop off rather than risk being turned and beaten in a straight race. He finishes confidently once he gets in on goal, and since arriving at Sheffield United has produced the consistent scoring return that looked in doubt during his injury years. That directness makes him a different threat to the more patient forwards elsewhere in the squad.

A serious knee injury cost him momentum just as his career seemed ready to take off, and rebuilding fitness and confidence afterward took longer than people outside the game appreciate. The tension now is durability, since his style relies on explosive movement that puts real strain on a body already tested by one major injury. Every fan who watched his early promise wants to know whether this version of Campbell can simply stay fit.
