West Ham United

Kyle Walker-Peters

Kyle Walker-Peters treats right back as a launchpad, driving the ball forward himself rather than waiting for a winger to make things happen. He defends through patience and good timing, rarely diving into a challenge he does not need to make.

Kyle Walker-Peters, The Full Back Who Carries

He drives West Ham up the pitch himself, once rated among the finest ball carriers anywhere in his old position.

Walker-Peters is at his best with the ball rolling under his foot, accelerating into space rather than standing and waiting for a pass to arrive. He times his runs past the winger ahead of him, then searches for the pass that breaks a defensive line instead of the safer ball backwards. Defensively he relies on anticipation and positioning rather than a needless tackle, which keeps him rarely beaten for pace out wide.

The question is whether that carrying instinct still pays off once opponents organise specifically to stop it, because a deep, patient block can crowd out the space he needs. He built this reputation for a struggling side, which at least proves he can produce it without much protection in front of him. How often he gets forward, rather than simply defends, will say plenty about how West Ham want to play.

Clean sheets in the Premier League and Championship

Five Premier League keepers have three clean sheets from five games, but Konstantinos Tzolakis has made the most saves of the group. In the Championship, George Wickens has matched Lawrence Vigouroux's four clean sheets while facing far more shots.

Match Bingo Game Modes Explained

There are three game types on Match Bingo and they behave less alike than they sound. Live Games follow a real fixture as it's played. Bingoals swaps the fifteen events for fifteen teams and needs every one of them to score. Quick Games run every few minutes on football from last season, so there's nothing to wait for.

Does a New Signing Change Anything on Your Match Bingo Card?

Deadline day comes and goes and your card stays exactly as it was. Match Bingo cards are built from things that happen in a match, goals and corners and fouls, rather than from the players who make them happen. No name on a teamsheet reaches a single square. Here's what a signing does change, and what it doesn't.

Is Match Bingo Safe? Licensing, Fair Play and Player Protection

Two things usually sit behind that question: whether the company is real and regulated, and whether the game itself can be got at by somebody sharper than you. Match Bingo is operated by RTSB Limited under Gambling Commission account 51467, which takes about a minute to check. The second answer is duller: there's nothing to press.

What Is Football Bingo?

A card holds fifteen things that can happen in a football match, and each square marks itself the moment its event happens in the fixture you've chosen. You buy before kick-off, then you go and watch the game. Complete a horizontal row of five before anybody else and you take the fixed prize for that tier.

Kyle Walker-Peters: The Reliable Runner

West Ham’s steady full-back, built to defend wide spaces and carry the ball into calmer territory.

Walker-Peters plays with a calmness that suits difficult matches. He doesn’t dive in, he delays, then wins the duel at the right moment. Against fast wingers he stays balanced, trusting his pace, and that makes him hard to beat because he refuses to panic.

On the ball he brings composure. He’ll carry out of pressure, play neat passes into midfield and give West Ham an exit route when they’re pinned back. In games where momentum swings quickly, Walker-Peters gives the team something vital: control in the wide areas.
