Jarrod Bowen

Bowen starts on the right wing but rarely behaves like a normal one, drifting inside toward goal so often that he finishes moves as much as he starts them. His movement is built on timing rather than pure pace, arriving in the box just as a low cross or cutback arrives so the finish becomes almost routine. He presses hard out of possession too, which is part of why he wears the armband.

The question worth asking is whether the service holds up now that opponents plan specifically to stop him, rather than being stretched by a stronger side around him. Higher up the pyramid he fed off quick combinations that better teammates created for him, and defences at this level often sit deeper and more patient. Watch how early he starts drifting inside, because that is usually the sign he has stopped waiting for the ball.
