Jean-Clair Todibo

Jean-Clair Todibo defends with real recovery pace, stepping out of the back line to cut off a pass or carry the ball forward once he has won it. He is far less convincing in the air, which sits oddly for a centre back here.

Jean-Clair Todibo, Built On Recovery Pace

His recovery speed and ball carrying make him a modern defender, though his aerial numbers remain a genuine worry.

Todibo defends through pace and anticipation rather than sheer power, reading a pass early enough to step in front of it and then driving forward himself once he wins the ball. That forward carrying is genuinely excellent, turning a defensive interception straight into an attacking situation in a way few centre backs manage. He also presses hard higher up the pitch, winning the ball back in areas a more cautious defender would simply avoid.

The clear weakness is aerial duels, an area where his numbers lag well behind most centre backs at his level despite his size. English football leans hard on crosses and set pieces in a way that will test that gap constantly. Whether his pace and ball skill outweigh that aerial worry across a long season, rather than just one eye catching afternoon, is the question that will define how West Ham judge the deal.

Clean sheets in the Premier League and Championship

Five Premier League keepers have three clean sheets from five games, but Konstantinos Tzolakis has made the most saves of the group. In the Championship, George Wickens has matched Lawrence Vigouroux's four clean sheets while facing far more shots.

Match Bingo Game Modes Explained

There are three game types on Match Bingo and they behave less alike than they sound. Live Games follow a real fixture as it's played. Bingoals swaps the fifteen events for fifteen teams and needs every one of them to score. Quick Games run every few minutes on football from last season, so there's nothing to wait for.

Does a New Signing Change Anything on Your Match Bingo Card?

Deadline day comes and goes and your card stays exactly as it was. Match Bingo cards are built from things that happen in a match, goals and corners and fouls, rather than from the players who make them happen. No name on a teamsheet reaches a single square. Here's what a signing does change, and what it doesn't.

Is Match Bingo Safe? Licensing, Fair Play and Player Protection

Two things usually sit behind that question: whether the company is real and regulated, and whether the game itself can be got at by somebody sharper than you. Match Bingo is operated by RTSB Limited under Gambling Commission account 51467, which takes about a minute to check. The second answer is duller: there's nothing to press.

What Is Football Bingo?

A card holds fifteen things that can happen in a football match, and each square marks itself the moment its event happens in the fixture you've chosen. You buy before kick-off, then you go and watch the game. Complete a horizontal row of five before anybody else and you take the fixed prize for that tier.

Jean-Clair Todibo: The Front-Foot Defender

West Ham’s proactive centre-back, built to stop danger early and protect space behind him.

Todibo plays like a defender who wants to own the moment. He steps out confidently, reads passes early and interrupts attacks before they become threats. That style suits West Ham because it allows them to be braver and avoid simply defending deeper and deeper.

With the ball he’s composed too. He doesn’t rush clearances, he carries into space and plays forward when the lane opens. Todibo brings the kind of modern defending West Ham need: athletic, assertive, and comfortable with responsibility.
