Nyoni drives forward through midfield with a tall, upright running style that still somehow keeps the ball glued to his feet, rarely needing a heavy touch to maintain control at pace. He is comfortable operating off either foot, which makes him difficult to show onto a weaker side the way most one footed midfielders can be shown. His passing range already looks progressive rather than purely safe.

Nyoni progressed through Liverpool's academy quickly enough to debut for the first team well ahead of most of his peers, a sign of how highly the coaching staff already rate him.
