Gregor Kobel

Gregor Kobel is the Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper named in Switzerland's 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup, in the selection Murat Yakin announced on 20 May 2026. He is 28 at kick-off and brings 20 senior caps with zero international goals into the tournament, one of three goalkeepers alongside Yvon Mvogo and Marvin Keller. Granit Xhaka captains the side.

Switzerland qualified by winning their UEFA group and were drawn in Group B with Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar, opening against Qatar at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on 13 June.
