Christian Fassnacht

Christian Fassnacht is a midfielder in Switzerland's 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup, named by Murat Yakin in the list announced on 20 May 2026. The 32-year-old plays for Young Boys and goes into the tournament with 21 caps and four goals for Switzerland.

An attacking midfielder who can also play on the right wing, Fassnacht returned to the national team in late 2025 after strong club form.
