World Cup 2026 fixture schedule explained
The 2026 World Cup runs from 11 June to 19 July, with 104 matches played across 16 venues in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The group stage alone delivers 72 games across three weeks, with multiple fixtures every day at kick-off times that range from afternoon to late night in UK time.
How to follow the fixtures
Every match is listed here by date, with the option to filter by group. Kick-off times are shown in local venue time, so UK viewers should bear in mind the time difference. Most group stage games kick off between midnight and 4am UK time, with some evening kick-offs for the Mexican venues.
When do the knockout stages begin?
The round of 32 starts on 29 June once all group stage fixtures are complete. From there it's straight knockout football through the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, on 19 July 2026.
