Florian Wirtz is a confirmed midfielder in Germany's 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup, named by Julian Nagelsmann on 21 May 2026 alongside Aleksandar Pavlović, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Jamie Leweling, Jamal Musiala, Pascal Groß, Angelo Stiller, Leroy Sané, Nadiem Amiri, Felix Nmecha and Lennart Karl in the midfield group.
